A minimum cage size of 20″ x 20″ is recommended, though bigger is always better. Horizontal bars help cockatiels climb and exercise. Provide at least 2–3 hours of out-of-cage time per day, and offer a variety of toys including shreddable toys, foraging toys, and bells.
