Parrots for Sale in Texas
Mo’s Birds ships hand-raised, DNA-sexed parrots safely to Texas via Delta Cargo, arriving right at your nearest hub airport. Houston, Dallas, and Austin families get the exact same hand-fed, health-documented bird that our local California buyers pick up in person.
How it works: Your bird is hand-raised at our California aviary, then flies directly to your nearest major Texas airport via Delta Cargo, a service built specifically for live animal transport. Mo coordinates the full timeline with you and stays reachable before, during, and after your bird arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to ship a bird to Texas heat?
Yes. Delta Cargo uses climate-controlled holds designed for live animal transport, and Mo times shipments to avoid extreme heat windows during peak Texas summer temperatures whenever possible.
How long does shipping to Texas take?
Most shipments are same-day or next-day depending on flight availability and your specific airport. Mo will give you an exact timeline once your bird’s documentation is ready.
What if my flight or pickup is delayed?
Mo stays reachable throughout the travel day and will help coordinate around any airline delays. Communication continues until your bird is safely in your hands.
Do I need any special permits to own a parrot in Texas?
Most common pet parrot species require no special state permit in Texas. If you’re considering a species with specific regulations, Mo can point you to what documentation applies before you commit.
What documentation comes with my bird?
Every bird ships with a DNA sexing certificate and a full disease panel covering PBFD, Polyoma, Psittacosis, and Chlamydia, the same standard applied to every bird raised at Mo’s Birds.
