About This Bird
The Timneh African Grey is the smaller of the two African Grey subspecies, identifiable by its darker charcoal-grey plumage and maroon-coloured tail. Timneh Greys are known among aviculturists for being slightly calmer, less sensitive to change, and more adaptable than Congo Greys — qualities that make them an excellent choice for those new to African Greys.
